Last fugitive from Pyrgos police station caught

The last of the five men who had escaped from a police station in Pyrgos was recaptured late on Wednesday, officers said on Thursday.

The 25-year-old man had not left the Peloponnese and was arrested in the town of Epitalio, Ilia.

The other four had also been picked up in Ilia.

The five men broke out of the police precinct at Pyrgos by forcing open a window using a latch they had ripped off their cell door.
