Ivanovic through to Rome WTA semifinal

ROME - Serbian female tennis player Ana Ivanovic qualified for the Rome WTA semifinal as she defeated Carla Suarez Navarro of Spain in the Friday match, 6-4, 3-6, 6-4.

This is Ivanovic's second victory against Navarro out of the two matches they played so far.

In the semifinal, Ivanovic will cross rackets with the winner of the match between Serena Williams of the U.S. and China's Zhang Shuai.
