Macedonia helps Serbia and Bosnia

SKOPJE -- The Macedonian government decided to send 75 special unit members as assistance to flood-hit Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The team is made up of members of the ministries of Interior and defense, and the Protection and Rescue Directorate.

At the session on Friday, the Macedonian government decided to send 45 drainage pumps, 35 aggregates, 9 boats, 3,000 blankets and medicines, MIA reported.

The decision on allocation of assistance was adopted after the information obtained from the European Civil Protection that Serbia and Bosnia have asked for help.
