Macedonia sends special units and drainage pumps as aid

SKOPJE - The Macedonian government decided at its Friday session to send 75 special unit members of its Ministry of Interior and Defence Ministry and the Protection and Rescue Directorate as assistance to flood-hit Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH).

At the session, the Macedonian government decided to send 45 drainage pumps, 35 aggregates, 9 boats, 3,000 blankets and medicines, MIA reported.

The decision on allocation of assistance was adopted after the information obtained from the European Civil Protection that Serbia and BiH have asked for help.
