Parliament to discuss draft statute of Vojvodina on Tuesday

BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament has released that its sitting, during which a draft statute of Vojvodina should be discussed, was postponed to Tuesday.

Serbian Parliament Speaker Maja Gojkovic informed MPs that the third sitting of the first regular session will be held on May 20, the release specified.

The opening of the sitting was postponed due to the national emergency that was declared due to the catastrophic natural disaster that requires 24/7 engagement of all bodies and institutions of Serbia in preventing the escalation and tackling the consequences of the catastrophe, the release notes.

The third sitting has been called with one point on the agenda- a draft statute of the autonomous province of Vojvodina with a draft decision on approving the draft statute, the release notes.
