Dacic: Serbia's goal is to renew ties with NAM nations

BELGRADE/ALGIERS - Serbia is on the right track to renew cooperation with non-aligned nations, Serbia's First Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dacic, who is also foreign minister, has said in Algiers, where he attended a ministerial conference of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) nations.

"Our goal is to renew political and economic cooperation with the 120 countries of the Non-Aligned Movement. We are on the right track to achieve that goal because Serbia is highly respected among the non-aligned nations," Dacic told reporters late Wednesday.

In discussions held earlier on Wednesday, it was agreed that there are great possibilities for significant improvements to economic cooperation and trade, as well as for increased presence of Serbian companies in developing countries, Dacic said.
