Tipsarevic: Operation went well

BELGRADE - Serbian tennis player Janko Tipsarevic said on Thursday his operation had been successful and that he could not wait to get back on court.

It was a complicated operation, but everything went well, he posted on Instagram, adding that he was happy that he hadd gone through with it and could not wait to get back on court.

The Serbian tennis player suffered a foot injury at the 2013 Australian Open, and hasn't played a match since ATP Valencia in October last year.

The surgery was done in an orthopedic and traumatology hospital in Frankfurt.
