President Basescu on Saturday meets Prince Charles, at Cotroceni Palace

President Traian Basescu, at the Cotroceni Palace, on Saturday, will have a meeting with His Royal Highness Charles, Prince of Wales.

According to a Presidential Administration release remitted to Agerpres, Basescu will receive Prince Charles in the Blue Hall at the Cotroceni Palace, starting 13:40, Romania's time.

Prince Charles has been on a visit to Romania since Tuesday and during his stay in our country he had meetings with the villagers of Valea Zalanului, a remote village of Covasna County, where he owns a manor he restored and where he has been coming over the past few years to spend his holidays.

The heir to the British throne also paid a visit to Saint Nicholas Church and to the Museum of the First Romanian School of Scheii Brasovului.

The Prince of Wales arrived to Romania on Tuesday afternoon on board of a private aircraft which landed on the airport of Targu Mures (central Romania).

According to some official sources, the heir to the British throne will leave Romania on Saturday. AGERPRES
