Proceeds from Tanjug exhibition to go to flood victims

BELGRADE - Through a charity exhibition of photographs, titled PhotoSolidarity to Remember, the Tanjug News Agency has raised money that will go to the fund established in aid of flood victims.

The exhibition, staged at Mikser House, featured hundreds of photographs made by Tanjug photo reporters in all crisis spots, as a testimony of the disaster that befell Serbia in May.

The idea of the exhibition was also to provide a reminder that the disaster is now over, but that thousands of people who lost their homes and are without basic living conditions still need help.

Visitors included Slovenia's Ambassador to Serbia Franc But, Serbian Minister without portfolio for European Integrations Jadranka Joksimovic, as well as many athletes - kayakists Olivera and Nikolina Moldovan, judoist Ivan Kukolj, table tennis player Monika Molnar, Andrea Arsovic, a member of the Serbian sports shooting national team, Partizan Handball Club's Vladimir Mandic and Ljubomir Jovanovic, Serbia's top race car driver Dusan Borkovic and others.
