Serbian government adopts amendments to BIA law

BELGRADE - The Serbian government adopted on Wednesday a set of amendments to the law on the Security Information Agency (BIA), the government office for media relations has stated.

The amendments refer to a number of provisions within the law that the Constitutional Court deemed were not in line with the Constitution.

The government also greenlighted the agreement on Serbia's participation in Horizon 2020, part of the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation that covers the period between 2014 and 2020.

Inclusion in this programme is expected to improve research and science in Serbia, the statement says.
