Zimonjic/Stosur win Wimbledon mixed doubles

LONDON - Serbia's Nenad Zimonjic and Australia's Samantha Stosur won the Wimbledon mixed doubles title after defeating Max Mirnyi of Belarus and Chan Hao-ching of Chinese Taipei in straight sets (6-4, 6-2) in the final match on Sunday.

This is the first Wimbledon mixed doubles trophy for the experienced 38-year-old Zimonjic, two-times champion in the men's doubles competition.

Zimonjic completed a big day for Serbian tennis in London, as Novak Djokovic won the singles crown, edging Roger Federer of Switzerland in an epic five-set clash earlier in the day.
