Tennis: Bogdan, Cadantu win BRD Bucharest Open doubles final

It was the first WTA final for Bogdan, 22, a former Roland Garros junior doubles champion in 2009 (also a 2008 finalist in the singles against Romanian Simona Halep). Bogdan is the world's No. 245 in doubles. Cadantu (No. 496 WTA in doubles) also played a doubles final in Fes, Morocco in 2012 with pair Irina Begu (Romania).

Romania's pair Elena Bogdan and Alexandra Cadantu won the 250,000-dollars WTA BRD Bucharest Open doubles final on Sunday, after beating Cagla Buyukakcay (Turkey)/Karin Knapp (Italy) 6-4, 3-6, 10-5.
