Šarić claims he received money from Mišković and Čume

BELGRADE: Darko Šarić (44), accused of cocaine smuggling and money laundering, was interrogated by the police yesterday, after he had taken a lie detector test.

According to Blic sources, he answered the questions asked by the members of the working group of the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs, but refused to answer any of the questions asked by the deputy prosecutor of organized crime.

Asked if Mišković and Buha had been paying him money, he answered in the affirmative. According to the results of the lie detector test, he was telling the truth.

Later during questioning he said that Mišković had given him 5.5 million Euro, but he didn’t explain for what.

- The most of the 15 questions put to Šarić were control questions, some of which are irrelevant for the police corruption investigation. Control questions, even when they are directly related to the police corruption investigation, are not aimed at finding out if the person questioned was telling the truth or not, but to show the scale, for instance of an emotional reaction – our source explained.

Mišković hasn’t come out on Šarić until know and Buha refused to give statement and take a lie detector test, saying that he would do so if Šarić should name him directly.
