Dacic, Romanian FM discuss promotion of bilateral ties

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic conferred Thursday with Romanian Foreign Minister Titus Corlatean on the strengthening of bilateral ties, economic cooperation and Romania's support to Serbia's European integration.

The meeting also addressed the position of the Romanian minority in Serbia and the Serbian minority in Romania, joint infrastructure projects, regional and other current international topics.

Minister Corlatean is a member of the delegation led by Romanian Prime Minister Victor Punta on his official visit to Serbia.

After the bilateral and plenary meetings, the two countries' foreign ministers and prime ministers visited the eastern Serbian town of Bor, where they met with representatives of the Romanian national minority in Serbia.
