Serbia's water polo team lose to Hungary

BUDAPEST - The Serbian national team lost to the host team of Hungary 8-6 (2-0, 3-3, 2-2, 1-1) in Budapest on Thursday evening in a third round-match of Group B at the Men's European Water Polo Championship.

This is the Serbian team's first defeat at the championship, where they are defending the title, after they previously beat France (16-5) and Germany (12-7).

According to expectations, the clash of the traditional rivals passed off in a big, brisk, fierce fight. In the end, the world champion outplayed the European one.
In the fourth round, the Serbian water polo team will next face Croatia at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
