Serbian water polo team beats Montenegro in semi-final match

BUDAPEST - Serbia's water polo team qualified for the final of the European Water Polo Championship in Budapest as the Serbian players defeated the Montenegrin team in the semi-final late on Friday, 10-9 (3-5, 1-2, 3-2, 3-0).

Serbia scored a victory after a major U-turn in the second halftime. In the final, the Serbian team will face Hungary as the championship host, whose team beat Italy in the first semi-final match, 8-7.

The final of the European Water Polo Championship in Budapest is due on Sunday night, after the match between Montenegro and Italy which will fight for the bronze.
