Huge team to accompany Lady Gaga at Istanbul gig

A 144-member team will accompany Lady Gaga, who is widely regarded as the natural heir to Madonna’s Queen of Pop throne, for her first performance in Turkey on Sept. 16.  
  
The American singer will take the stage at Istanbul Technical University’s stadium as part of her fourth concert tour entitled “ArtRAVE: the ARTPOP ball.”

The Istanbul concert will kick off the Grammy award-winning singer’s European leg of her tour and a 144-member team consisting of dancers, creative directors, stylists and technicians will accompany her.

Famous for her outrageous outfits, Lady Gaga changes her stage costumes in a record-breaking 30-second time frame.     

The tour will take her to North America, Europe and Asia in support of her third album, “Artpop,” which was released in 2013.

The 28-year-old singer, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, will perform 78 concerts in 68 cities during her tour, which began on May 4 and will end on Nov. 10.

Lady Gaga will perform her most popular songs from recent few years, including “Alejandro,” “Bad Romance,” “Poker Face,” “Born This Way” and “G.U.Y.”
