Increased traffic causes two-hour border lineups

BELGRADE – Increased traffic at the border crossing at Batrovci between Serbia and Croatia has caused wait times of about two hours on the way out of Serbia and of up to 90 minutes while entering the country, the Serbian Interior Ministry (MUP) said in a release Saturday.

Drivers are facing lineups of up to 90 minutes when crossing the Serbian border from Croatia at Sid and need about half an hour to leave Serbia at the border crossing at Gostun to get to Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Wait times in both directions at the Horgos border crossing to Hungary and at the Spiljani border crossing to Montenegro are up to one hour.

At the other border crossings, wait times are normal, according to the release.
