Serbia beats Kazakhstan,through to semifinal against Croatia

ALMATY - The Serbian water polo team qualified for the FINA Men's Water Polo World Cup semi-final as it defeated Kazakhstan in the quarterfinal match on Friday, 16-10 (6-2, 3-3, 4-3, 3-2).

The list of best players in the Serbian team includes Strahinja Rasovic and Srdjan Vuksanovic who scored four goals each, Dusan Mandic and Sava Randjelovic who scored two goals each, while Dimitrije Obradovic, Dusan Markovic, Gavril Subotic and Viktor Rasovic scored one goal each.

In the fight for a place in the FINA Cup final on Saturday, he team coached by Dejan Savic will compete against the Croatian team which defeated Montenegro, 6-5.

In the second semi-final match, Hungary which beat South Africa, 15-1, will play against the U.S. which defeated Australia after penalty shots 11-9 (7-7).
