Bulgaria's Caretaker Transport Minister Approves 3 New Appointments

Caretaker Transport Minister Nikolina Angelkova has made three replacements at the Executive Agency for Exploration and Maintenance of the Danube River (EAEMDR), the Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company and the State Enterprise "Air Traffic Services Authority" (BULATSA).

Zdravko Tsonev has been appointed Executive Director of the Executive Agency for Exploration and Maintenance of the Danube River (EAEMDR).

Tsonev graduated from the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy in Varna with a degree in marine engineering. In 1994, he completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the "Angel Kanchev" University of Ruse. In the period 2011-2013, he was Executive Director of the EAEMDR.

Desislava Dimitrova has been appointed Member of the Management Board of the Bulgarian Ports Infrastructure Company. Dimitrova replaces Svetoslav Michev.

Dimitrova has graduated from the Sofia-based University of National and World Economy (UNWE), completing a BA in Economics of Transport, an MA in Marketing and an MA in International Economic Relations. In the period 2010 – 2012, she completed a leadership skills program at the Executive Education Centre (EXED) of CITY College at the University of Sheffield. She has worked at Leon Trans EOOD and Mobiltel EAD.

Georgi Dimitrov has been appointed Member of the Management Board of the State Enterprise "Air Traffic Services Authority" (BULATSA). Dimitrov replaces Anton Dzhadzhev.

Dimitrov obtained an MA in Law from the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and a PhD in Law from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium.
