Serbia takes on Greece in Mundobasket Round of 16

GRANADA - Serbia lost its fifth round match in Group A of the FIBA Basketball World Cup to host Spain 89-73 (34-20, 20-15, 17-21, 18-17) late on Thursday at the City Arena in Granada.

The team coached by Aleksandar Djordjevic suffered their third loss and finished fourth in their group, setting up a Round of 16 clash with the winner of Group B Greece, who battled past Argentina (79-71) for the top spot.

The top scorers in Serbia's team were Bjelica with 19, Raduljica with 13 and Teodosic with 10 points, while Spainiards Pau Gasol (20 points), Navarro (15), Rubio (12) and Marc Gasol (11) led their team to victory.

The Mundobasket Round of 16 match between Serbia and Greece will be played on Sunday in Madrid.
