Bosnian entity observes day of mourning for miners

ZENICA -- The Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina (FBiH) entity in Bosnia-Herzegovina is on Monday observing a day of mourning for five miners who perished in an accident.

The miners, who will be buried today, died last week in a coal mine collapse near the town of Zenica.

Rescuers on Sunday evening recovered the last body from the Raspotočje mine.

The accident happened on September 4 after a minor earthquake triggered the collapse.

34 miners in all were trapped 800 meters below the surface. 29 were found alive and rescued on Friday.
