Basescu: I see regulations likely to seriously influence fair presidential elections

Romanian President Traian Basescu said on Monday he had noticed that several regulations had been issued and there are institutions placed under political control that can seriously influence the fair presidential elections due in November.

He explained he had made an analysis of the developments ahead of the polls.
