Romania wants tighter cooperation with USA to consolidate partnership (state secretary Aurescu)

Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE) State Secretary for Strategic Affairs Bogdan Aurescu says Romania wishes to tighten the cooperation with the United States of America for the consolidation of the transatlantic partnership, a MAE release informed AGERPRES.

Aurescu has co-chaired alongside US Department of State Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Hoyt Yee the third meeting of the Romanian-American Task Force for the implementation of the Joint Statement on the Strategic Partnership for 21st Century, held at the Parliament Palace on Monday.
