Serbia to play against Croatia in Davis Cup

DUBAI -- Serbia's best tennis players will compete against the Croatian tennis team in the first round of the 2015 Davis Cup World Group, a draw decided on Thursday.

The first round matches will be played March 6-8, 2015, with Serbia as the host, and the winner will compete against the winner of the match between Argentina and Brazil in the quarterfinal match, July 17-19.

Serbia's tennis players secured their place in the World Group by beating India in the match played last week, 3-2.

The matches in the first round of the 2015 Davis Cup will be played between France and Germany, U.S. and Great Britain, the Czech Republic and Australia, Italy and Kazakhstan, Argentina and Brazil, Serbia and Croatia, Japan and Canada and Belgium and Switzerland.

Tennis players from Switzerland and France will cross rackets in the finals of the 2014 Davis Cup in November.
