Serbian and Russian officials sign seven documents

BELGRADE -- Serbia and Russia signed seven agreements, memorandums and protocols during a visit by Russian President Vladimir Putin to Belgrade on Thursday.

The documents were signed at the Palace of Serbia in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić and Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić.

Serbian Defense Minister Bratislav Gašić and Director of the Russian Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation Alexander Vasilyevich signed an agreement on military and technical cooperation.

Director of Serbia's Office of the Council of National Security and Classified Information Protection Goran Matić and Director of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation Sergei Beseda signed an agreement on mutual protection of classified information.

Serbia's Interior Minister Nebojša Stefanović and Director of the Russian Federal immigration Service, Konstantin Romodanovsky signed a readmission agreement and a protocol on its implementation.

Serbia's Customs Administration Director Miloš Tomić and Russian Federal Customs Service (RFCS) head Andrey Belyaninov signed a protocol between the Customs Administration of Serbia and the Federal Customs Service of Russia on exchange of information on the customs value of goods traded between the two countries.

Serbian Minister of Mining and Energy Aleksandar Antic and General Director of the Russian Energy Agency Anatoly Tikhonov signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy.
