Maziotis’s partner makes statement after long silence
Pola Roupa, partner of Revolutionary Struggle leader Nikos Maziotis, who has been on the run since her husband was arrested in July, has shown the first signs of life since then.
Roupa signed a 7,500-word statement, photocopies of which were left outside the National Technical University of Athens on Friday. Roupa admits Maziotiss arrest was a blow for the terrorist group but vows that the organization will never die.
The strongest message is that the struggle continues, according to Roupa, who made several references to previous terrorist attacks. Lets imagine what we could achieve if we had a strong armed movement in Greece at the moment, she adds.
