President of Hellenic Parliament to visit Belgrade

BELGRADE - Hellenic Parlaiment Speaker Vangelis Meimarakis will visit Belgrade on Thursday to attend a ceremony marking the completion of an EU Twinning project between the Serbian and the Greek parliaments, dubbed ‘Strengthening the capacity of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in the process of European integration'.

The president of the Hellenic Parliament will meet with Speaker of the Serbian National Assembly Maja Gojkovic, after which the two speakers will attend in the Twinning project's closing ceremony together.

Meimarakis will also meet with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic, Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic.

Also scheduled is a meeting of Meimarakis and other members of the Greek delegation with the chairman and members of the Serbia-Greece parliamentary friendship group.
