Kelemen Hunor: Our nation must be united; history proves we can only count on us

Leader of the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (UDMR) Kelemen Hunor, running for president of Romania in Nov. 2-16 elections, called on Thursday on the unity of the Hungarian nation, underscoring the common goal is that it become a successful one in Europe.

Kelemen, who was addressing an event commemorating the Hungarian Revolution from 1956 in Miercurea Ciuc (central Romania) stressed the day of October 23, for the Hungarians in the Carpathian Basin is a celebration of the fight for freedom.
