Change is happening

For a number of years Greek universities were held hostage by corrupt professors, members of political parties and unionists whose singular alliance had transformed the country’s academic and research institutions into places of exchange, corruption, violence and lawlessness. The phenomenon of hooligans posing as students to hijack lectures and take over buildings, turning them into hubs of crime, exists nowhere else in the world.

Rules and laws must be upheld at any university that respects its history and its students’ needs. Finally, we have rectors who have the courage to impose such obvious changes, students who actually demand them to and a society more concerned with seeing young people get an education.

The leftist parties need to come to terms with the fact that change is taking place and should help eradicate the sick elements. Taxpayers do not pay for universities just so that some can live out their revolutionary fantasies.
