The 2015 draft budget will be put to debate at the end of November and it might be voted on by December 31, Minister-delegate for Budget Darius Valcov told Realitatea TV news channel late on Tuesday.

'We do not want to interfere with the electoral campaign. It is not normal that the 2015 budget be put forward by the budget minister or the finance minister without the prime minister to take up post from December 22 or somewhere towards the end of the year not giving his assent and not coming up with ideas to improve it. This is the only syncope or difference from what the current legislation imposes us', Valcov explained.

The minister underscored that in the event that modifications appeared, the percentage might stand at around 5 to 10 percent.

'The modification, if any, will not be radical. It will be 5-10 percent, if the future prime minister considers certain taxes should be lowered. We will have a month's transparency and I think that by the end of the year, after December 25, by December 31 we will be able to take a vote', he added.

He pointed out that in 2015 'we will finally have a budget made for the people, for development, not an accounting one'.AGERPRES
