'Henry Moore-The Printmaker' in Novi Sad

NOVI SAD - The Museum of Vojvodina in Novi Sad will be a meeting place for all art buffs as of Friday, November 7, as it will host an exhibition of works by Henry Moore, one of the greatest British artists of the 20th century.

The exhibition consists of 80 prints, five sculpture models and a working model, all dating back to the period between 1934 and 1984.

To provide a closer insight into his work, the exhibition, which was first on display at the National Museum in Belgrade, includes a set of photographs of the author himself and his creative process.

The works included in the exhibition, titled "Henry Moore-The Printmaker", are part of a special collection of the British Council's Museum without Walls, to which the artist himself donated more than 200 exceptional works of art in 1984.

The staging of the exhibition is supported by the Serbian Ministry of Culture and Information, the Vojvodina Provincial Secretariat for Culture and Public Information and the British Embassy in Belgrade.

The exhibition in Novi Sad will run through November 30.
