Plan of bilateral military cooperation for 2015 signed

BELGRADE - Representatives of the Defence Ministries of Serbia and Greece signed the Plan of bilateral military cooperation for the year of 2015.

The document was signed on Tuesday and the representatives of the two Defence Ministries stated that intense cooperation in the defence sector is on a constant rise and follows the trend of excellent political relations between the two countries, the Serbian Defence Ministry posted on its website.

The plan of bilateral military cooperation was signed by Head of the Department for International Military Cooperation Colonel Milan Konjikovac and Director of the International Relations Directorate of the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Greece Commodore Alexandros Diakopoulos.

The bilateral cooperation so far was primarily conducted through military-to-educational cooperation, joint participation in multinational operations and joint trainings for special units.

The two defence inspectorates should launch cooperation and the ties in military medicine and strategy planning should also be established.
