Bulgarian Socialist Party Reshuffles its Executive Bureau

Dimitar Dabov, Evgeni Uzunov, and Angel Naydenov have been removed from the Executive Bureau of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) at the proposal of BSP Chair Mihail Mikov.

During a Friday sitting of the National Council of BSP, the governing body of the party was downsized from 21 to 18 members.

Dabov and Uzunov keep the posts of Deputy Chairs of the election headquarters of BSP, while Naydenov remains Deputy Chair of the parliamentary group of BSP, according to reports of the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency.

Georgi Pirinski also remains a member of the Executive Bureau of BSP but he will no longer be Deputy Chair of the unit.

Yanaki Stoilov and Dragomir Stoynev keep their posts of deputy chairs of the governing body of BSP.

Boyko Velikov was elected Deputy Chair of the Executive Bureau of BSP.

Anton Kutev remains a member of the Executive Bureau.

The reshuffle at BSP is expected to be officially presented by Mikov later on Friday.
