Vucic discusses Rama's and IMF visits with ambassadors

BELGRADE - Serbia's Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has informed the ambassadors of the Quint countries and the EU ambassador about Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama's visit, particularly pointed out Rama's provocation during the joint news conference and stressed that Serbia reacted with determination, but also a lot of restraint, the government office for media relations has stated.

All the ambassadors concluded that despite Rama's provocation, the visit had been historic and important for cooperation and stability in the region, the statement says.

Vucic and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic met on Tuesday with the ambassadors of the Quint (UK Ambassador Dennis Keef, Italian Ambassador Giuseppe Manzo, German Ambassador Heinz Wilhelm, US Ambassador Michael Kirby and French Ambassador Christine Moro) and Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport.

Vucic informed the ambassadors about current political and economic events in Serbia, economic reforms, foreign investments and the talks with the visiting IMF delegation.

He thanked the ambassadors on their assistance in attracting foreign investors to Serbia, adding that they would find that Serbia provided the best business environment in the region.

The six ambassadors expressed full support for Serbia's reforms and spoke positively of the course of the talks with the IMF.
