Dacic, Pildegovics discuss cooperation

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic conferred on Friday with State Secretary of the Latvian Foreign Ministry Andrejs Pildegovics concerning the strengthening of bilateral cooperation, Latvia's EU chairmanship and Serbia's OSCE chair as of January 1, 2015.

Discussing the bilateral relations between Serbia and Latvia, Dacic and Pildegovics agreed that the two countries need to intensify their political and economic cooperation, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs released.

The topic of the talks coverer Latvia's chair in the EU which the country is due to take over on January 1, 2015, as well as Serbia's OSCE chairmanship which is due to begin at the same time.

The two officials' meeting offered an opportunity to discuss the visit of Serbian foreign minister to Riga scheduled for December 10, the release states.
