Minister Rasim Ljajic to visit Saudi Arabia on Sunday

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic will pay an official visit to Saudi Arabia on Sunday, at the invitation of Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The two officials will discuss the strengthening of the Saudi-Serbian ties as well as investment opportunities for Saudi Arabian businessmen in Serbia and increase in the volume of bilateral trade.

During his visit to Riyadh, Ljajic will meet with President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and discuss the potential for increasing the number of Saudi tourists in Serbia. A meeting with Muhammad Al-Jasser, Minister of Economy and Planning for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is planned as well.

Ljajic will also visit one of the largest state companies in the food sector and discuss opportunities for the export of Serbian food and agricultural products to the Saudi market, the Serbian ministry said in a release.
