Beltango to stage gala concert in Dom Sindikata

BELGRADE - One of the world's best renowned tango orchestras Belgrade-based Quinteto Beltango will mark 15 years of its artistic work with a gala concert in Dom Sindikata, Belgrade, on November 27.

The Belgrade audience will have an opportunity to enjoy in more than two hours of music and dance spectacle showcasing the riches of a three-centuries-long history of tango and premiers of some of Beltango's author pieces from its new CD "Theatre of Soul".

Quinteto Beltango, which brings together renowned musicians, performers and pedagogues Aleksandar Nikolic (bandoneon), Jovan Bogosavljevic (violin), Ivana Nikolic (piano, vocal), Bogdan Pejcic (guitar) and Ljubinko Lazic (double bass), will be joined at the gala concert by numerous guests from the country and abroad, the organizers announced.

The authentic magic of tango dance will be presented by an extravagant dance couple from Buenos Aires, Mariano Otero and Alejandra Heredia. Other guests at the concert will be tango singer of Serbian origin Marko Koglan from Buenos Aires, a tambura orchestra from Srem and Serbian jazz diva Bisera Valentic.

Beltango has been recognized as one of the best tango orchestras in the world, which has been proved by numerous concerts and tours in nearly 30 countries worldwide. This year, the orchestra has already staged concerts in Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, Vietnam, Italy, Croatia and Turkey.
