Nikolic, But: Many positive changes have happened in Serbia

BELGRADE - Serbia's President Tomislav Nikolic and Slovenia's Outgoing Ambassador Franc But have noted on Friday that many positive changes have happened in Serbia in the last two years, and that the two countries maintain excellent bilateral relations.
"One should be honest and admit that it is evident that many positive changes have taken place in Serbia in the last two years, and that Serbia has begun functioning as a modern state," it was said during the Slovenian Ambassador's farewell visit, the president's press office stated.
Ambassador But said that Slovenia is grateful for the major progress that has been achieved in the last two years concerning the succession of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, and voiced the hope that steps forward will be made in relation to the issue of archives.
President Nikolic voiced the expectation that the excellent relations between Serbia and Slovenia will continue improving in the future, and that the two economies that naturally turn to each other would soon be able to work on a joint product, with which they would be able to enter third markets together, the release notes.
