One night dance festival "Jewels of Asia"

BELGRADE - The one night dance festival "Jewels of Asia", with 14 troupes from Serbia performing traditional dances from the Middle East, India, Malaysia, China and Japan, is set to take place on December 6 at the Children's Cultural Center in Belgrade.

For the second year in a row, the project will bring together Serbian dance companies that take their inspiration from the dances and culture of Asia. The dance part of the program will include a total of 14 troupes and 20 musical and dance numbers.

This year's festival will also feature a bazaar where the visitors will have an opportunity to taste Asian cuisine, choose interesting jewelry and inquire about dance lessons, announced the festival organizers Bollywood Dance School Panna and Cultural Center Nea Pangea, Belgrade-based organizers of this major dance event.

The project gathers dance companies from Belgrade, Serbia and the region inspired by a broad range of dance styles that originated in Asia. The performers will include 'Birds of Paradise' (cultural troupe founded by the Malaysian Embassy), 'Talija' Art Company and the ballet school of Ana Pflug, the release states.
