EU gave us millions, and Russia gave us nothing

Citizens of Serbia are convinced the biggest ammonuts of money come from Russia, but the truth is different. Moscow gives Belgrade only loans, while the European union gives us donations.

- EU is at the top when it comes to donations, investments and exchange of goods. It was always like that. 

But, because of the specific communication in the media, citizens think that Russia is the most significant investor. Russia is increasing its influence and money investment, but its still bellow Germany or Italy, for example - Aleksandra Joksimović, Director of the Centre for Foreign Politics, stated for "Blic."

Results of recent surveys show that Serbs think the biggest donators are Russia, EU, Japan, Germany and China.

The truth is different, and the list looks like this: EU, USA and Norway.
