DefMin Dusa and Lithuanian Ambassador to Bucharest discuss reinforcement of NATO's eastern flank

Defence Minister Mircea Dusa on Tuesday at the headquarters of the MApN [Ministry of National Defence] had a meeting with the Lithuanian Ambassador in Bucharest, Arvydas Pocius, on which occasion they talked about the security on the NATO's eastern flank and the bilateral cooperation in the defence field.

'In this context, Minister Mircea Dusa conveyed the fact that the Action Plan aimed at improving the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation's Operational Capacity plays an essential role in redefining its defence and deterrence position. Both Romania and Lithuania are firm supporters of a robust allied presence on their national territories,' reads a release of the Ministry of National Defence (MapN) on Tuesday sent to AGERPRES.
