Man burned to death in Larissa

Police and the fire service in Larissa, central Greece, were investigating the exact circumstances of the death of a man whose charred body was discovered Tuesday on a construction site in the city.

Local residents had called the authorities to the scene, saying they had seen a figure engulfed in flames at the site after hearing cries.

It remained unclear whether the death was murder, suicide or accidental.
