Beatles tribute act The Bestbeat to play on December 27

BELGRADE - The Bestbeat, a Belgrade-based Beatles tribute band, will play a concert at Dom Omladine in Belgrade on December 27 in a bid to recreate the atmosphere of the Liverpool Fab Four's early performances.

The concert will mark 50 years since the eruption of Beatlemania - the Beatles' appearance in their first film, A Hard Day's Night, and the soundtrack to the film, their third studio album.

It will coincide with an exhibition of illustrated posters inspired by John Lennon's lyrics, created by students and professors of the Belgrade Faculty of Applied Arts, Dom Omladine said in a statement.
