Princess Margareta to open 'Storytelling Evenings' event on Tuesday at Carturesti Bookstore
Princess Margareta on Tuesday is set to be one of the two storytellers participating in a special event organised by the Princes Margareta Foundation and the Carturesti Verona Bookstore, under the generic title of 'Storytelling Evenings,' reads a release of the Foundation sent to AGERPRES.
The event will start at Carturesti Verona venue at 7 pm EET, with the other storyteller of the evening to be famous actor Victor Rebengiuc.
The 'Miniton' children chorus will also join the storytellers, with their own show of songs about winter and Christmas carols.
Now in its 8th edition, the 'Storytelling Evenings' event will take place this year between December 16 and 20 in the attic of Carturesti Verona Bookstore, where fairytales will be presented to children in a unique and interactive manner, for charity purposes.
The event is meant to encourage children to read, while the storytellers are actors, artists, television personalities and members of theatre crews, all of them participating pro bono in this event: Eugen Cristea and Cristina Deleanu, Andreea Ibacka, Bianca Brad, Alina Sorescu, Margareta Paslaru, Teatrul de Umbre [Shadow Theatre], Dubee Doo Theatre and Muzicantii Voiosi [Happy Musicians].
Access to events is free of charge. The funds that are about to be collected from sponsorships and donations will be given to the Special Fund for Children annual national programme that helps hundreds of children from all over the country facing difficult situations and threatening to drop off school because of poverty.
