Four arrested for online prostitution racket

Police on Thursday detained four suspected members of a prostitution racket believed to have used dating websites to set up sex workers with clients.

Two women, who were said to be foreign though their ethnic origin was not determined, were to face a prosecutor along with two men alleged to have been chauffeurs for the sex workers, driving the women to and from their meetings at various hotels across Attica.

According to police, the ring operated for several years and used a variety of websites to draw clients.
