First Serbian business investment forum in UAE in January

BELGRADE - In collaboration with the Serbian embassy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Serbian Business Council will organise the First Serbian Business and Investment Forum in the UAE from January 25 through 30.

The five-day event, which will take place in five emirates, is supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and the Federation of the UAE Chambers of Commerce.

The objective of the forum is to familiarise Serbian businesspeople with the UAE market and the way it operates, the business climate, tradition and customs.

The Serbian delegation will comprise officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, local self-government authorities, universities, tourism organisations and other relevant institutions.

The basic purpose of the forum is to present Serbia's economic, tourism, educational and investment potentials.

Mirjana Radenovic Ratkovic, director of the UAE-based Serbian Business Council, says that in this way the organisation primarily wants to enable small and medium-sized enterprises to get to know the UAE market.

Our goal is to create conditions to boost the volume of trade between our two countries and make a contribution to our country on the path towards economic stability, Radenovic Ratkovic said.

The Serbian Business Council was established in January 2014 in Abu Dhabi with support from the Serbian embassy in the UAE, and its fundamental objective is to create and improve the business climate and investments between the two countries.
