ANM: Blizzard, glaze and snowfalls starting Friday morning all over the country

The National Meteorology Administration [ANM] on Thursday issued a new warning of blizzard, snowfalls and glaze, valid throughout the country starting Friday morning.

According to meteorologists, between January 9, 10 am, local time, and January 10, 2 pm, there will be snowfalls, locally abundant, in all mountain areas.

The wind gusts will reach up to 70-80 km / h drifting the snow, particularly in the highest areas in the Eastern and Southern Carpathians.

In the rest of the territory, the wind gusts will intensify locally and temporally, with speeds to reach up to 45-50 km / h and mixed precipitations that will lead to the formation of glaze.

The weather is expected to turn warmer in the second half of Friday night and the first half of Saturday, while in Banat and Crisana there will be rainfalls, with the precipitations to reach up to 15-20 l / m .

By Friday morning, the weather reports warn about very low temperatures and strong wing. According to the alert, the weather will be particularly cold, with frosty nights and mornings all over the country. AGERPRES
