The November gross earnings figure was 2,412 lei, 2.3 percent up compared to October, while the net earnings advanced 2.2 percent.

The highest net earnings were recorded in the oil and natural gas industry (4,166 lei), and the lowest in the hotels and restaurants (1,033 lei).
INS data show a 5.6 percent year-on-year increase of the monthly average net nominal earnings.
The monthly growth was owed to occasional bonuses (including the annual or holidays ones), to profit sharing and other funds, and also to production performances and higher revenues depending on contracts. For some businesses, redundancies of lower income employees also had a contribution to this evolution.

In the public sector, education, healthcare and social assistance saw a 1.7 percent advance of the net earnings in November, compared to October; the growth was smaller (0.7 percent) in the public administration.

Also according to INS provisional data, Romania's population has decreased by 6,200 in November 2014, on a monthly basis; compared to October, there were 2,818 less births.

INS has recorded 14,897 live births and 21,087 deaths (down 784 from October) in November, leading to a 6,200 negative population growth. The October figure was 4,166.

There were 114 infant deaths (below one year of age) in November, compared to 147 in October, demographic data also show. AGERPRES
