Bulgaria's Pironkova Reaches Sydney Semi-Finals

Tsvetana Pironkova scored on Wednesday her 14th victory in a row, defeating Barbora Zahvalova Strycova in the Sydney International tournament in Australia.
Pironkova, currently No 67 in the ATP rankings, won over the Czech player 6:4, 6:1, making her way into the semi-finals.
Bulgaria's best tennis player had a difficult time securing victory against Zahvalova Strycova in a game that lasted 01:37 h.
To reach the finals, she will have to face either Jarmila Gajdosova (Australia) or Petra Kvitova (also from the Czech Republic).
